Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin, who challenged Putin, reported dead in jet crash
A small plane that belonged to Prigozhin crashed. There were 7 passengers and 3 people who worked on the plane.
Everyone on the plane died, and they found all the bodies.
The people on the plane were: Prigozhin, his helper Dmitry Utkin, Sergei Propustin, Yevgeny Makaryan, Alexander Totmin, Valery Chekalov, and Nikolai Matuseyev.
The people who worked on the plane were: Captain Alexei Levshin, co-pilot Rustam Karimov, and flight attendant Kristina Raspopova.
People think Prigozhin died because his name was on the crashed plane's list.
The plane was flying from Moscow to St Petersburg. It crashed in a place called Tver. The plane caught fire and crashed after less than 30 minutes of flying.
Some people say the Russian military shot the plane down, but Russian officials are investigating to find out what really happened.
Prigozhin used to be friends with Russia's president, Vladimir Putin. But they became enemies after Prigozhin tried to take over the Russian military in June.
The Wagner Group
Yevgeny Prigozhin made a group of hired soldiers called Wagner in 2014.
He's a rich businessman who had done some bad things, and people called him "Putin’s chef" because he gave food to the Kremlin.
In June, he told his soldiers to take over a city in Russia, but they didn't succeed. They wanted to remove the military leaders.
But then Prigozhin talked to the Kremlin and stopped his soldiers from going further. Belarus' leader, Alexander Lukashenko, helped with the talking.
They made a deal that said Prigozhin wouldn't get in trouble, and he could go live in Belarus.
After that, he stayed quiet, but a video recently showed he might be in Africa.
