Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian had Urgent Fetal Surgery, for Saving Baby's Life
Kourtney Kardashian shared some important news on Instagram. She had to go through surgery for her baby, which happened urgently. This is why her husband, Travis Barker, had to cancel some of his concerts in Europe last week.
Kourtney said thank you to her amazing doctors for saving her baby's life. She also thanked Travis for coming back from his tour to be with her in the hospital and taking care of her. She thanked her mom for being there too.
"I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.
As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.
Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing." She wrote this on her Instagram.
Kourtney explained that this was different from her previous pregnancies, which were easy. She felt scared going through this urgent surgery for her baby. She now understands how tough it can be for other moms who go through similar situations. She thanked God for being able to leave the hospital with her baby still safe inside her.
Travis Braker said, "God is great. I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well. I want to say thank you for all the support. Tour resumes Friday."
Blink-182 had to cancel shows in Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin because of this family emergency. Travis had to rush back to the United States. The band said they would share more information about when the shows would be rescheduled.
Travis also shared pictures on his Instagram story of a prayer room and a chapel. It shows they are seeking comfort and strength during this challenging time.
Earlier this summer, Travis and Kourtney announced they were going to have their first child together at a Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles.
