Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase after blowout loss to Browns: 'We just lost to some elves'
Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase, both part of the Cincinnati Bengals football team, aren't worried even though they had a tough start to their season. They lost 24-3 to their rivals, the Cleveland Browns.
Burrow, the quarterback, didn't seem too upset. He said that one bad game doesn't define the whole season. He knows they didn't play well, but he's confident they can come back stronger, just like they did in the past. Last year, they also lost their first two games but ended up winning their division and reaching the playoffs.
However, Burrow hasn't had much success against the Browns. He has only won one out of the six times he's played against them, and he's never won a game in Cleveland since 2017.
Before the game, Ja'Marr Chase, one of the team's wide receivers, made some comments about the Browns, calling them "elves." Even though the Bengals lost, he didn't change his mind. He's frustrated because he called them elves, and they lost to them. He thinks they missed opportunities and didn't play their best.
In simple words, the Bengals lost the game, but they're not giving up hope. They believe they can bounce back and have a better season, just like they did last year.
